The first tournament since open beta began is coming up next month! Tournament is called, 'BFG: Frozen Battlegrounds'.




Signups are set to open on January 3rd of next year, so this is a heads-up for you on what is coming up.

Details for the tournament will be revealed over the rest of this month and on the signup day. Expect the tournament to require level 25 and will be played on the newly updated 5v5 map (coming soon!). Other rules will follow similar to previous Rise of Immortals events.

If you are unsure about being able to get level 25 by mid-January, XP potions are available in the game!

Any preliminary questions you have, ask here!

Ehhhh, I severely doubt that will be enough players at 25 to field more than a small handful of teams. Also, that is an ultra lame name

Come up with a better one while we have the time to change it! And the tourney won't be for almost a month... I suspect players will be 25 by then .

Not that many I would imagine. I think I only know of 3-4 25's right now. I'd expect the requirement to be brought down, maybe to 20 or so.

I love competitive play. Can't wait for the new map. Everyone should start to level hard so we can have a bunch of teams. Go, go, go!

Also share concerns about the lvl 25 requirement, guess we'll see if there's enough people lvled up closer to the tourney. If there aren't enough, perhaps there could be a special tournament flag you can enable for these games where players queued for a tournament match would temporarily gain lvl 25 and access to all immortals and would revert back to their original level afterwards.

Too bad I can't even think about participating because I promised not to play BfG without my mates - which don't seem to have any interest in playing it at the moment... .-. (So I'm stuck on Lv5 and will stay there for at least another week... ><")

We'll change the level requirement if it looks like we don't have enough level 25 teams at the time, no worries! Though those who do reach 25 will have that advantage still .
